The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science) was established in the year 2021 with an intake of 60.  It has got increased to intake of 120 in the year 2022, besides an additional 20% under lateral entry scheme.  Currently the department offering B.Tech Program in Computer Science & Engineering with Specialization in Data Science

The Department is headed by Mr. A.Srinivasan. He has more than two decades of teaching and research experience and published 15 research articles in reputed National and International journals. There are 4 faculty members in the Department who possess quality teaching with a passion towards high quality research. They are also knowledgeable, hard-working, earnest and adoptable, well-informed and dosed with a sense of responsibility.

The Department of CSE(Data Science) aims to  train students to become competent Data analytic experts and expand their capacity to contribute in the Field of data science by providing solution in Public aspects.

The students are encouraged to participate in Hackathons / Projects / Internships to improve their practical knowledge. The department also organizes regularly co-curricular and extra-curricular activities for the all-round development of students such as seminars, workshops, group discussions, etc. The department imparts specialized training to students to pursue their career in core and other IT related streams through various skill development activities.
